TOUR OF HOMES
When St. Matthew’s Episcopal School was in search of a unique new fundraiser, the school come up with the idea of hosting an event that would allow participants to tour some of the area’s most stunning homes. Our Reimagine Marketing team was approached about developing the overall brand and event collateral for what would be known as the “Houma Tour of Homes.” What resulted was a logo and accompanying materials that were as elegant and pristine as the homes featured in the fundraiser.
LOGO SET AND COLOR PALETTE
SMES’s vision for the event began with a logo that had a classic, timeless feel. In response to their request, we created a clean, font-based logo using a combination of elegant lettering choices. To complete the design, we selected a classic color combination of black and a gray-blue shade. The resulting logo was one that easily communicated the elegance of the homes that participants could expect to visit on the tour.
Once the fundraiser had its logo, it was time to develop a variety of cohesive event materials. To begin, we coordinated professional photo shoots of homes on the tour to create a custom booklet featuring each one. Additionally, we designed advertisements in the booklet for event sponsors. We continued our work with production of signage, posters, and tickets that featured a map of the neighborhood in which the tour took place. For homeowners, we even provided event-branded “Privacy Please” signs to place on doors of rooms that they wanted to remain off-limits to the public.
