A luxury transit service needs a brand that speaks to its sleek ride offerings, and that’s exactly what our team delivered to Houma-based transit company Ray Rides. We started with a blank slate, creating everything from the company’s name, to its logo, to the branded stickers on its vehicles. Now, Ray Rides has an easily-recognizable presence that spans across the Houma-Thibodaux community, as well as across digital platforms.
LOGO SET AND COLOR PALETTE
To capture the feel of the company’s luxurious transit options, our team conceptualized a minimalist logo based on simple, but polished, font choices. We choose a classic black and white color palette representative of the sleek exterior of the company’s fleet of vehicles. The resulting logo was one that captured the ambience of Ray Rides’ services. The logo would later go on to appear on banners, expo signs, billboards, large vehicle stickers, and a website, all produced by our team.
A smartphone app was essential for easing the booking process for Ray Rides customers, so our team worked to design one that encompassed every aspect of hassle-free luxury transit booking. The Ray Rides app allows riders to easily select a vehicle, intended destination, and pickup date and time. Once their travel information is inputted, they can pay for their ride within the app.
The final aspect of Ray Rides’ branding efforts came in the form of promotional signage to appear around the community. We coordinated a professional photoshoot of the company’s vehicles to place on signage and made use of secondary logo designs wherever necessary.
