BEST OF THE BAYOU FESTIVAL
What’s fall without a local music festival? As Houma’s Best of the Bayou Music Fest became endearingly known as “BOB Fest” to most of the community, the festival’s organizers wanted to capitalize on the nickname as they rebranded the event and extended its reach beyond the Houma-Thibodaux area into other regions of South Louisiana. Our team found ourselves putting together the pieces that would become BOB Fest’s bright, vibrant new look.
LOGO SET AND COLOR PALETTE
The festival’s organizers wanted to appeal to a younger audience while simultaneously developing a brand that would become easily recognizable in its advertising efforts. In response, our team created a grunge-themed logo indicative of a lively music festival. By omitting a year from the logo, the design could remain evergreen. We completed the design with an extensive, vibrant color palette that could be used interchangeably on event materials like t-shirts. Once our work was complete, the festival’s organizers were easily able to adhere to branding guidelines in all of their marketing efforts.

EVENT MATERIALS
Any music festival requires a wide variety of branding materials, and our team worked to provide BOB Fest with the full range they needed, whether as small as a brochure or as large as billboards lining the highway. We developed signs featuring the event’s headlining acts and banners with its logo to place around the community. For the event itself, we designed festival-branded wraps that hung on the sides of the stage. For cost-effectiveness, festival t-shirts were created with no year on them so that leftover shirts could be resold from year to year.
